Maybe, some could certainly see it that way. There may also be some protocol that I am not aware of and they may be mandated to report as it happens?
However, I much prefer the public releases to be accurate. There is a lot riding on every public statement they make. I've been in too many other explorers that get excited and draw conclusions too quickly. Some have announced things that turn out to be inaccurate at best and false and misleading at worst. I've been through the whole conglomerate gold saga. Led by Novo and ARV which threw up plenty examples of interesting theories that were premature and led to costly mistakes.
GCY is also an excellent example. I've been here since the first gold pour and lived through their desperate attempts to salvage something that has turned out to have been based on a total misunderstanding of the geology.
So I am happy for them to test 100 times over if they need to, if that means they report accurately.
