This has been 20 years of work for Ruane. He has put millions of his own money in on top of the loans. LD has been a massive struggle. The recent scientific work has involved much of his own time. Despite the gloom and doom I don’t think this is the end. Of course he can call time whenever it suits him. It’s not the first time things have been tough. Think back to the NNTT decision and then the period after Greg left. If they can survive now the question is for how long. SOP sentiment really needs to change. At the moment there is a failure mentality.
