I guess we have to wait for the SX-EW work stream study to be released, but at face value, I am intrigued why we are looking to restart the SX-EW plant to only run at 5-6ktpa production when it's nameplate capacity is supposedly 25ktpa, when there are 17Mt of ore sitting on the old heap leach pads @0.53% Cu grade. The "old" restart study identified that this ore had to be relocated to new heap leach pads to make way for the new open pit. What is the limiting factor that has seen the production target for SX-EW copper plate drop from 25ktpa down to 5-6, especially given that the oxide and transitional ore resource in the ground has actually expanded to now be 162kt contained copper?

The quarterly report states "At this stage, operatingcomplexity and capital costs appear to be low as there is no restart of open-pit miningrequired, and all heap leach materials are reprocessed in place." So, I assume they are not looking to move and re-stack the heap leaches. Perhaps then they are not looking to get the recoveries that were being targeted in the previous restart study from the old heap leach material?!??

I am also intrigued by the recent announcement that CYM are looking to sell the existing gas turbine power plant and perhaps have someone else supply the electricity. Time will reveal all I hope.
