Sometimes these things seem futile at first, but I know first hand that correspondence received in volume on a specific issue does actually escalate it to potential ‘hot potato’ status, and one that a ministerial adviser will look into more closely. I would hope a few dozen emails/letters like yours would at least generate a phonecall from Cook’s office to Roger Martin for background info on the holdup. Cook has always made very supportive noises around hydrogen - as did Alannah MacTiernan when she held the Hydrogen portfolio - so he’s personally well aware of the intricacies involved here. It is time he took action and used some of his own political & cross-portfolio clout as Premier to address this tenure issue and move it to a swift resolution for every industry participant. Roger and DF are presumably in the ear of the pastoralists & graziers lobby group too and they are hopefully kicking up some stink as well.
