i know i am out but i keep reading your insights 2ic. I dont know if i mentioned this before and it is somewhat mute, but i wonder in the feasibility and resource definition that becuase the resource was so shallow they conducted RC drilling for the bulk of the resource and did not do much or any diamond core - the RC would have of course pulverised the indurated horizon where as the diamond core would have demonstrated its possible impact and could have been then used to assess the parameters around the degree of induration, extent, etc etc.
was it just so assumed the shallow ore, easy to dig/bulldozer scenrio was just so "obvious" other subtle geological parameters were just missed???
it would seem so.
