I would be very surprised if they didn't know, they can see the register in almost real time so they will have seen what trading activity was going on and would have understood who was pushing the price up.
Plus they are JV partners, if PLL did all that without the SYA's BOD knowledge it tells you what PLL think of the partner, that alone should be enough for holders to demand change.
PLS played them at AJM are PLL playing them now?
