Based on current spot market selling to PLL this quarter will realise a higher price per tonne and lower cost as they just have to deliver to port and not incur shipping costs.
I believe according to an analyst covering the stock spoke with management and they’ve been trialling multiple delivery points for Tesla to find the most efficient solution. Dare say if spot remains low more volume could go through PLL if it continues to yield a higher price per tonne and lower cost. Hence most being allocated to PLL this Quarter.
expansion definitely on the cards at NAL with recent drilling. Talks of potentially another processing plant. No huge decisions will be made in this down cycle until all options are on the table. Downstream still an option but need a clear partner with the expertise here as we know.
previous bod definitely gun shy and focus has been survival/nameplates/break even.
Have to wait and see what these new appointments do from here.
