I listened to the investor call today. I do think binding agreement is within a week or so away. The rest was all vague stuff. Apart from other investors putting in $130 m whom are all big corporate names. So gives confidence that they think it’s a winner. Also he did hint that yancoal didn’t want to be the public face of this vehicle, referencing Chinese investment in Canada. With HFR they also get a management team that can progress the Southey project.
no info regarding the finances of the deal though.
