This is the update on the strategic review process that I was looking for:

"Stage 2 of the process has now commenced with a smaller group of selected parties and will involve site visits and a detailed data room shared under strict confidentiality"

Other than flagging that completion of an agreement could be delayed from September quarter to December quarter, their plan for bringing a JV partner is still progressing as planned.

From the Project Update on 16 April on the strategic partner process:

"The Company is now assisting these parties with their due diligence review of this material before engaging in discussions on investment terms which are expected to conclude in the June Quarter of 2024."

[Stage 2] "The number of Strategic Investors will then be reduced prior to entering the final stage when confirmatory due diligence will be completed, and definitive investment terms agreed upon. This final stage is expected to conclude in the September Quarter of this year and Hawsons intends to then proceed immediately into the BFS."

Being in Stage 2 of the Strategic Investor process means that we could already have a heads of agreement with one or more parties about what a deal might look like, and those partners are doing their due diligence with a view to refining the definitive investment terms.

I know there seems to be very little news flow on this issue, but this could be because of the nature of the confidentiality agreements surrounding these types of deals until they are finalised.
