They will demerge the business into 2 seperate entities, not sure exactly on a timeline for this. You can fairly assume most of the shareholder base bought for TECH. It is certainly what I bought in for years ago but after doing a fair share of research I can definitely see the potential value creation from the energy business too. The green transition will bring many new opportunities and I think both business' stand to benefit from it.
My concern is that the cornerstone investors invested for TECH and not for QPME. When they do demerge, is it in their best interest to still hold shares in the QPME structure?
