Another impressive quarterly, great news on all fronts. There has been a muted reception on this forum but while the directors are typically loath to boast about their achievements there is a lot going on in the background and the quarterly hardly does justice to all that has been happening.

Vision 2030 Strategy

This chimerical strategy released in 2022 is well on the way to execution.

A truly visionary document setting out the global aims and aspirations of the company over the next half decade. All milestones so far set out in the document have been achieved. Great work Sal.

Luxembourg Green Bonds - Uley 2 Financing

A minor hiccup saw the financiers inadvertently locked in the electronic data room for several months. Sal went to London, UAE and Singapore looking for them before they were finally found. No harm done, they said it gave them the opportunity to concentrate full time on the Quantum proposal. Summer holidays in Europe have again stalled proceedings but term sheets are expected imminently.

Sunpower LDES

Stationary energy storage is taking off exponentially in Australia and Sunpower is in the vanguard of the industry, the leading developer of stationary energy storage technology, so full steam ahead on this project. A comprehensive review of the many interested strategic partners has narrowed the field, negotiations are continuing, an EPC engineer will be appointed shortly, planning for the pilot plant is awaiting only a suitable site to become available.

Sunlands Pure LLC : US Spheronised High Purity Graphite Plant

A letter of interest inviting an application for funding in respect of the Futile Project has been received by Sunlands Energy from EximBank. A feasibility study has been finalized in complete secrecy but not yet released to Quantum shareholders for confidentiality reasons. Planning for the project is well under way and a process flow chart schematic is expected once Bruno can get some time off work at Lycopodeum to develop the concept. Some further news on that front expected by Q4 at the latest. A suitable site in South Carolina in the USA battery belt is under consideration for what is expected to be a gigafactory sized project and US based staff are expediting the logistics. Sunlands is afterall a global leading company in the field of battery anode materials.

Updated DFS

Forecast sales to Sunpower, Sunpure LLC and MRI Trading have exceeded all expectations such that current plans for the Uley 2 mine are now completely lacking to meet the required output. Upcoming exploration is expected to vastly increase available resources and an updated DFS to increase planned production from 100ktpa to 250ktpa is required ASAP to ensure all the opportunities on hand are captured.

Australian Government Funding

The Future Made in Australia Fund and Critical Minerals Productivity Initiative have presented further funding opportunities in the unlikely eventuality that existing funding initiatives fall through. Sal is working through the possibilities face to face with the Minister for Industries the Honourable Ed Husic MP to make sure he understands the critical role Quantum is playing in the global battery minerals field.

Grant Thornton Legal Action

This has to be kept quiet so as not to alert the adversaries to the legal strategy but the Quantum in house legal team have advised they have a cast iron case that will be impossible to refute. A sizeable settlement is expected to eventuate.

Westar Resources Limited - Uley North Project

Who do these upstarts think they are? They have an option over and are considering exploration on highly prospective tenements immediately adjacent to Uley2. Much closer than the fiercely fought over Lincoln Minerals Limited. A takeover offer is sure to be forthcoming. More legal proceedings? Sal lives for it!

Sal is so busy working 24/7 on advancing the many and various projects on the company's agenda that he has had little time for detailed communication on all these issues with shareholders. This has the unfortunate effect of giving the unwarranted impression that these matters are not serious undertakings. The plans regarding getting the Uley mine up and running have been going on for more than a hundred years so a few more is nothing in the overall scheme of things. But keep the faith, these are exciting times and the eventual outcome will be of benefit to some shareholders I am sure.
