that was my point - we dont know lease details, my guess is they are leasing extra land for extra $ to land holders, and have signed up to say "whatever we find in the ground is ours", and there might be a small fee for commercial discovery in lieu of offtakers signing up etc
and it is similar to gold discovery - tenements can cover hundreds of kilometres, but the gold discovery might be only within a 5klm band
