    Yes, the mainstream media don't appear to have done any research whatsoever or perhaps they had an angle they wanted to push. The article I posted on July 05 from The Diplomat, which is a good resource for SE Asian affairs, I used to read that more closely when I was employed as an ADF Indonesian Linguist to keep up with current affairs in the region.

    It links to a large report, with a good summary, from Climate Rights International, who started the ball rolling for BASF's exit in January by publishing the 124 page report. I don't have time to read it again to see if that's where I saw the reference to a large amount of pressure certain organisations were putting on the German and EU Governments to have them influence BASF's decision to pull out of the project, but in flicking over the summary again it does reinforce the business case for Ta Khao and points toward likely European demand for BSX's cathodes. There's a lot of work going on toward cleaning up the mining industry, particularly in regards to carbon footprints and the treatment of tailings and byproducts. The report, or summary is well worth a read and increases confidence in BSX.
