The fact the sellers are prepared to accept these prices is a concern in itself. There are many reasons people sell a stock but chief amongst them is if you believe it is going even lower. Also, prior to this whenever there was a slump the buyers have eventually come in for support - there is a significant lack of this atm. I believe EQR cash position and their insane pursuit of more assets when they cant even get the ones they own to work yet is the key behind their immediate SP failing.
