You would think so. If you look through past announcements the list of announcements due in the next few months is building (unless obviously some slip into 2025):
11 June 2024 - Seymour extensional drilling commenced (an initial plan 5 holes for 3,000m). Page four of the Sept quarterly noted 10 holes drilled for 3,442.4m. They have therefore either shortened quite a few of the holes or hit a near surface pegmatite that has been explored with the additional 5 holes averaging 88m. The pictures below are from 30 May 2024 (left) and 13 Aug 2024 (right). There's seven clear areas of drilling and one of these areas has multiple disturbances. GT1 may also be using the same site with different angles because with depth drilling that can target two area a decent distance apart. The Sept quarterly noted the pegmatite didn't thicken but the results are still to be announced.![]()

11 June 2024 noted the commencement of a study around Seymour having a small or large underground component. The Sept quarterly noted further optimisations of Seymour but no timeframe for releasing whether Option 1, 2 or 3 was preferred (or a different option again).
Because of the way the NI JORC code works, GT1 has applied an unusually high pit constraint dollar value to get as much resource as possible declared. The release of an integrated open pit and underground plan should enable the pit constraint for the resource to be pulled back so its no longer a red flag pointing to a high-cost operation. The ability to incorporate UG material that doesn't fall within even an unsually high open pit constraint will allow the reported resource to increase. It looks like the most northern of the new Seymour extension drills is about 1km north of the existing resource. The size of the resource increase will therefore depend on thicknesses and widths. 1km * 200m * 10m * 2.7 density is 5.4Mt of additional resource with a consequential ability to extend the life of mine and improve financials.
Last year's 17 Nov 2023 slide presentation pack noted a DFS in the 2nd half of 2024. Personally I'm expecting the DFS will slide into 2025 but we will see.
3 Sep 2024 noted a maiden exploration has commenced at the Swole target area. This creates the potential for a pegmatite discovery announcement.
25 Sep 2024 noted a 10,000m 16-hole phase 1 deep drill at Root, to be followed by a 4,000m 10-hole program at Root Bay East. The Sept quarterly noted that phase 1 was in progress. This should result in two sets of drill hole announcements.
The 31 Oct 2024 quarterly noted "We are looking forward to commencing the maiden drilling program at Junior in the upcoming quarter." If this still applies and it was only a week ago, at some stage in the next 8 weeks there should be a commencing drilling at Junior announcement.
The June quarterly notes a workstream around Metallurgical Test work on variability DMS test work and ore sorting amenability. A host of other companies are doing pre-DMS ore sorter screener to better manage the transition zone around the edges of pegmatites. At the big end of town PLS installed a huge ore sorter in their recent upgrade. Ore sorter test results may create an ASX announcement but I'd be surprised if the DMS variability work did.
GT1 has been noting Hydroxide site due diligence assessments for the thunder bay site that was a waters edge old paper mill. There may be a stie confirmation at some stage on this, although that may not occur until more overall work on the pre-feasibility study work with EcoPro has occurred.
Past slides have noted continuing permitting work. If the past indicated Seymour FID timeline was to be achievable there should be a Seymour fully permitted and construction ready update sometime comparatively soon.
Something showing how financing is progressing is possible (which is admittedly difficult given both the share price and current lithium prices). Slides from the Jan 2024 presentation pack indicated not only the DFS but funding and FID in late 2024. I don't think anyone is still expecting funding and FID this year but that would jolt the share price.
