Tran lives on in this forum without the need for posting. Some people seem to see Tran as a pied piper who misled the masses but Tran was enthusiastic about HIO when there were a lot of good reasons to be enthusiastic.
Wind the clock back a couple of years and Hawsons had secured 100% control of a project that had been in dispute for some time, it had a fully funded BFS (approx $35million), it had announced a $200million funding package on what seemed very favourable terms. There was also plenty of excitement in the market about the future of green steel.
Unfortunately, the terms of the funding package were later announced to be incorrect and nowhere near as appealing as the initial announcement and accessing that funding was costly and detrimental to the share price. Then, despite suggestions everything was looking good with the BFS, it was halted/abandoned - but not before the money for it had all but dried up with little to show for it. Add to all that there is almost no excitement left for green steel or small cap mining hopefuls in general.
Those are all things that can't be blamed on any posts made by people in this forum.
