If a company goes under, along with it the top 20 holders - irrespective of how many shares they hold, bought last week or accumulated over time. Even if any top 20 holder sells, the buyer (along with others) will then be another one who holds the bag.
Many other companies failed and whether the top 20 saw trouble beforehand or not or hoped for issues to be resolved, they too got caught up in their share of losses. Unless financing is obtained and soon, AAU's fate is pretty much sealed as an addition to being another failed company. May be a pretty stupid decision to continue to hold but major sp falls already occurred thus whilst real risk of company failure is there, not much choice but to wait and see whether the expectation of financing will become reality. If financing is achieved there is upside but only then. AIMO
