Sunstone is basically out of money, share price and stock dilution is at a point it is not viable to raise further capital. If they don't find a partner shortly, they cannot continue to drill or operate. They have already shut down as much as they can to preserve cash.
Now it's a gamble i.e. do you hang in there and hope Mgt find a partner shortly or do pull up stumps and cash in what's left of your investment.
I'm going to gamble as the upside, if they do find a partner, is too enticing to miss. I invested knowing this investment was a gamble and this would be the inflection point i.e. getting a JV partner.
