It's always re-assuring to have a quarterly report delivered at the beginning of the month rather than in the dying days of the month. It's an indication of the efficiency of the company.
I think I've said this before, but the report is like one that is provided to the BOD by the mine manager rather than a report to shareholders. It's warts and all and makes you feel that you are there and part of the operation.
Interestingly the carpark drilling has continued. My understanding was that the carpark drilling would only continue should results from the first drilling have been positive. It seems that may be the case.
Fancy cleaning out the Process Water Pond and revealing a north-south striking silicified zone.
And subsequent to quarter end the Company and MAC Copper have completed their share subscription agreement with conditions precedent for the water supply and zinc milling arrangements.
Let's not forget the 42 freehold houses owned by the company (not mentioned in this report) that have been refurbished for use by company employees and the 2-year lease agreements with the two motels in town for all their rooms (whether occupied or not). Bodes well with the now 120 permanent employees and 60 or so casual and other current sub-contractors.
