I think it’s very understandable to be concerned especially when missed dates are not explained. Companies must follow asx rules but at the same time companies imo also have to follow rules with binding agreements, especially with governments is my guess. In my opinion, if explaining to the market why a date was missed, breaks a confidentiality agreement that they have signed, they would not disclose that information, especially if not legally impelled to.
Imo, if it ever came to a court challenge, orders that have been placed for a pause on funding so that a review can take place, is viewed by the US judicial system as favouring the applicant regarding any missed dates. I’m attaching a screenshot below of such a pause announcement, and although later the pause was successfully overturned by the judicial system, the wording of that overturning, still allowed each department to make its own decision to continue the pause or not.
