It's hard to know which "experts" to listen to... Some experts are saying that gold could go as high as $20,000 which is an astronomical number, but it was thought that the US was acquiring a lot of gold to try and peg the dollar against gold again so they could revalue the gold / dollar price. Whether that happens or not is anybody's guess.
The recent drops (and gains) in gold prices leans towards perhaps a longer term decrease in gold price, but I don't see that boding well for silver. I'm the first to admit I haven't done massive research into it, so I am not about to tell anyone they are wrong.
