The Hiilside Mine about 150km East of Minbrie is 530mg/tonne copper with 120mg/tonne of gold.
The largest lead zinc smelter in the southern hemisphere is about 180km away. The magnetite overburden rather than being a cost can be treated in the same.way as Simec's magnetite mine just 100km to the north. 50% is exported and the rest is used at the Whyalla Steelworks.
