I advise every gold investor to read the article which, in my opinion, very clearly explains the reasons why Trump acts the way he does, something that many of us find incomprehensible.We all know that there is a village idiot in every village, but is this man the village idiot of an entire country?
The aricle gives much understanding of his 'rational' imo:
- That got us thinking about what the real endgame is for the US and the Trump administration.
- While the last few weeks of uncertainty and chaos seems unprecedented, it’s not the first time the US has decided that the global financial system needs a bit of a tweak and a reboot in its favour.

Trump put out this tweet on Truth Social last weekend:

A USD devaluation means the appreciation of other currencies and even bigger appreciation of assets that can be labelled global “RESERVE” assets...like gold.

It’s no wonder the Chinese have been stacking gold reserves too...

So what conclusion should take from the above?
- I'm no fan from Trump. I would love for his first 100 days to be his last 100 days!
Unfortunately, reality is not a bed of roses.
- Maybe he deliberately makes himself the village idiot to pursue a single goal

- "USD is structurally overvalued relative to other major currencies"
(important to note that back in 1985 the US national debt was just US $1.8 trillion,
it’s now US $36 trillion... a massive jump even when taking inflation into account)
- Now you may also understand why he is laying off thousands of government employees to reduce the US's excessive debt.
- I don't know how all this will play out, but it will at least have a positive effect on the price of gold and ultimately also on the price of KAU.

By the way, I have increased my position in KAU by a small parcel in the last few days.
