You have it a little backwards. I got clarity about this when it was announced because it is confusing.
If wr1 exercise prior to July 31 - 1 million CAD and take ownership on 31 August.
If Wr1 exercise option after 31 July, but before 31 August, Wr1 will issue the shares and cash. 3million and shares instead of the 1million if they choose to exercise prior to July 31.
Based on what I have read in CCAA documents, I am not sure when Renard went into Cold Care/Maintenance, but i doubt it was March, so I am not putting much faith in those conditions.
I know 31 may and 31 July are being thrown around as the date. I really dont know the answer. Court docs say 31 July
