Worst affected are stocks that are below their yearly highs and also have low liquidity., like EQR. The volume for that drop is still small and indicates that it was quite possibly a bit of tax selling. Danger is sudden good news means a sell for not a significant gain, but a lost opportunity.
Anyway APT price on SMM up another 0.9% today, so that is not the cause.
