Hi @paris123456, in what sense is the market depth designed to fool retail. Are you alluding it to encouraging buying for an exit or are you advising it's fooling retail into selling cheap??? Couldn't quite understand tree and your position.
My view is market depth is designed to create selling pressure as it wouldn't make sense for a pump and dump to have so many sellers in the depth and certainly low levels around current price. To note everytime there is a sale another seller comes in to replace. This is strange in itself as it happens like clockwork. So my theory is if you believe the depth is creating an exit plan its certainly the most stupid depth I have seen to maximise value on the exit. I would be stripping sellers out and selling without placing a sell order in the cue and certainly not stacking sells well and truly outside of current trading price. Just my thoughts!!
