These are the sorts of days that try the patience of long term holders, you know nothing has changed with the stock and that given time you are reasonably confident they will firm up a mineable resource at Break of Day. And maybe find some other decent deposits along the shear zone. Who knows maybe even a VMS at Mt Eelya.
You hope that in 12 months time the share price will have doubled or tripled. Yet you see some shareholders throwing in the towel already. Some presumably Patersons clients taking profits, others may look at the political and economic news and see little in it positive for gold. Some might worry that the company is too understated for its own good. So you begin to have doubts as well.
But if you have done your homework, spoken to the management and are disciplined enough to believe in your own judgement then you will see out these dips without panicking. It's all about holding one's nerve.
