When i spent 4 years working there in the 90's that pit had ceased mining operations because of wall failures. It was not safe to mine and the cost of opening it up wasnt feasible at the time. The BIOX costs a fortune to run the sulphides through also.
I believe there is hope of making good profits there but a hell of a lot more CAPEX and time would be needed to open the pit right up big time to make it work. Time and money BLK dont have.
Its shame as ive been following this operation for years been in and out at times and been waiting hoping to get back in.
