Yes i worked there under 2 previous owners.
Wiluna Gold and Great Central Mines (Gutnick).
Imo wall failures are due to poor mine design of soft oxide pit walls at Wiluna. The endeavor to get to the ore as quickly and efficiently as possible often leaves pit walls very steep. And as i mentioned the BIOX is key to max gold recovery from the sulphides mined fron Bulletin u/g ops. The BIOX works awesome when overseen by good experienced metallurgists but its a high energy consuming process.
Matey im just a mine worker. I know that place. I meet people often who recently worked there. They left because it sucked working there. I have been offered jobs there myself. No thanks. The camp is old as the hills. I know other people too that have turned down job offers to work there.
Staff turnover is high.
I have also worked for the Mining contractor that operates the pit. They know how to mine gold for sure but they dont control the operation. BLK do.
