An interesting side note about Bell Potter: ASIC (the financial regulator) banned Simon Poidevin (managing director of Bell Potter) from providing financial services for five years because of market manipulation relating to the SP of DirectMoney (DM1). The last thing I read about Poidevin is that he's fighting the ASIC ban.
