The law will need to factor "best interests" and obligations against a myriad of external factors, as well as shareholder interests. I suggest you do some more reading in other legal cases to find out why most of us are pretty confident in the handling of this.
In the meantime buy a few shares and centre your discussion on the future rather than the past.
