yep, totally get the differentiation requirement to discern the mum from the Bub however I don't recall the use of "Maternal heart" monitor being used before. This suggests a subtle indication that things are progressing in the development of how the device can be used. All a bit of speculation but it does make sense that something sophisticated enough for home use that is able to differentiate between maternal and foetal could be extended to monitor anyone's heart beat. If there is a possibility that we have a cardiac monitor as well as a maternity based one then the market continues to open up.
I get excited by HMD and BXB, one day I hope I get the opportunity to see a load of HeraBEATS on a freshly painted CHEP pallet.... one can dream
