Just a thought.. maybe Kate isn’t doing much at all at this company and the pay isn’t great for her so she’s better off betting on shares and if the company does take off she’d be making a fortune and if not, no problem no big deal her.
So if the company agrees to pay her 100% in shares then the company actually isn’t going anywhere any time soon; if they don’t pay her 100% in shares maybe the company is gonna take off and don’t want to give her what she doesn’t deserve
