Yeah but are HMD 'mansplanning' maternity issues. Maybe should have had a Woman out front leading the charge. Its femtech, but maybe not as female investors would like it to be.

i think its more telling that woman are not demanding this type of technology from their doctors; either because they dont want it, or because the decision makers (statistcally speaking, men) dont see the value in the improvements.

pregnant women have largely been treated by the medical standard of care like they have a disease/illness; they do not. Birth is the meaning of life, the experience should be one of joy. HMD tech can in theory help improve the experience and medical outcomes but it seems the value placed on this is too low to warrant $50 per month per pregnancy (stupidly cheap imo). If woman had more influence the term maternity desert wouldn't exist.
