You'd imagine being a low cost operator, a lot of other companies would go broke before NIC, leading to less competition and sharp spot price reversals..
NIC would have hedged and locked in higher prices on future contracts as well..
BHP and others wouldn't be shopping for more nickel exposure into the future if it wasn't going to be profitable..
