I wouldn't under-estimate the power of word of mouth - whether that's via facebook, linkedin, personal interactions, school meetings etc - the app will sell itself if the users that have it have a good experience and tell others. I think WGL are doing the smart thing by focussing on their branding because it legitimises the app and why they produced it. It's going to take patience but I believe it will pay off.

Anyone here working for a SME or government agency (that could include public/private schools btw) take note that from Feb 17th 2018 you are required by law to tell your customers or subscribers about data breaches which could be quite embarrassing and/or will lose you customers .
