Agree on the forced in, but where do you get the no understanding of business and not confident of turning around sales. I got that they wanted to take some time to understand the business given they are new to it before providing guidance, that is very different to having no confidence or ability. Throwing in a reference to a CR, just sounds like down ramping 101, you forgot to add maybe a class action or that maybe a review would not recommend the technology.
If you don't like the share, sell and move on.
