FYI - I was one of the early tester/users and therefore was part of the 12 mth for free deal for WGL VPN. Used it for ages, worked really good and to be honest I'd never had a VPN before and I grew to appreciate having it on when traveling etc. It definitely improves performance too.

So I got a new phone recently and as part of setting up all the apps again I tried to login to the VPN. Wouldn't login, so I email WGL VPN support and was informed that my free subscription should have ended in Dec last year. I had no idea when it would end, completely lost track of that, but the VPN just kept working for me. Hmmm makes you wonder how many other people have been using the VPN for free (intentionally or unintentionally) when the Co should have been getting paid for it.

Pretty amateur for a listed Co, but hopefully they have fixed that glitch in the system.
