I may as well get this off my chest as well-
I don’t get all the negativity about what the company is actually doing. I have been a very long holder beginning with Bard 1 and yes been VERY frustrated along the way especially with lack of communication and missed timelines.
This is a pioneering research company, high risk and potentially high reward . Unlike many in this space they have navigated and underperforming Bard technology, in going from Research to a validated test , HTert commercial disappointment due to better tests overtaking it and still delivered a better performing Breast cancer platform ready to start seeking commercial partners and a validated Ovarian cancer test ready for the further development phase. We have an excellent commercial partner in the market selling our Exosome product as well as incorporating it into their kits and putting it in the hands of the top researchers in the world. In addition to this they are leading on developing high throughput commercial solutions in Exosome’s , specific products for dementia and brain research and working on therapeutic products.
For a very very longtime it was silence but in the background they were picking and investing in the winners and putting the less promising on the back burner. They have in the last six months lifted the hood on what we have in the portfolio and I am excited by what I see. It’s no mystery for me why David Williams has got on board now. I think PolyNovo is a great example, I was invested in Calzada for years and at about 3 cents on occasion. They went through the same process, got rid of a failed foray into weight loss, concentrated on developing BTM , started commercialisation and whacko a billion plus company and many patient happy punters.
I can only imagine some of the trades and posts on here are to down ramp in preparation to get set for a capital raise. Good luck trying to outsmart DW in that . Last money raised at PolyNovo was a minimal discount and many missed out.
