At the start of the upswing, I was speculating an announcement was coming, but I think you’ll find it’s just general market sentiment. The Gaza war hasn’t blown out of control(nor has it blown over) and the us has started to pressure Israel so I think nerves have calmed.


But yes, the ports attack, and Optus(re the gov now include comms as critical infrastructure) highlight the shift in focus for cyber security. Hopefully they can gain some traction outside of us gov as they’re struggling to channel the money to where it’s needed.
