I don't have a crystal ball, so no idea when or even if others will catch up.
But I am aware that if Nuheara keep moving forward - as they are doing - it makes it harder still to catch up. I recently asked JM about the new Qualcomm chip with ANC embedded and he said it wasn't the hardware that was the issue, it was the sound engineers needed to develop hardware to make use of that technology that was a hard. Checking Nuheara announcements you will find that Nuheara have been working in partnership with ams for quite a while to develop what they have.
The first mover advantage (which I've read has proven often to not exist in technology), would relate to selling IQ-type-products or similar. Nuheara are certainly the only ones on the market at present. BOSE DeNovo application was done on a design, not a working model.
I have no idea if Apple will catch up, or if they are trying to. I'm simply stating that Apple only recently launched V2 and more recently V3 of airpods, and that product is no match for what the Nuheara products are and do.
Investors trying to judge whether Nuheara will gain product sales traction before they run out of money - yep - that's what a lot of us are doing. But my point here is that is only considering one pathway for Nuheara - what about the pathway of monetising their advanced technology?
