That's some impressive optimism.

It seems quite reasonable at this point that their most realistic hope is that the family, er, board, is given a Tattslotto ticket. Specifically given to the company and no individual and this is somehow legally binding and it wins first division.

Realistically, it seems safe to say no one is going to buy the algae IP (I'm being generous even acting like they have anything worth calling IP) and anything algae related would be sold as scrap by liquidators. They won't sell it before liquidation because it would look too absurd selling it off and getting back yard garage sale money for it; the completely trivial money wouldn't help, but the reputation would be damaged, absurd as it is that they still have one. Someone may want to take over the Cannabis side of things, but in that case either it gets bought out and shareholders are given little if anything, or best case scenario, it's taken over at a tiny price and shareholders would have greatly reduced value, probably in most cases they'd be holding unmarketable parcels.

At this point I imagine many shareholders would be wishing for this to completely end and liquidators to be appointed, even more than I'd like to see it. For me it's just an interesting story that became stale and boring so I want it to end, but for holders it would be pretty agonising. I saw this coming years ago (and posted ad nauseum about it much to the lament of holders), but I don't think anyone imagined it would gwt dragged out like this. It's like getting hooked on a TV series, the last season is dull and boring, the final episode, which is particularly dull, is stopped 5 minutes short and they wait a year to release it.
