H, probably worth it's own thread (i can see others eyes glazing over) but hoping you can clarify one of the technical points you raise.

I understand a unique charateristic of VIN is that it uses connection-less UDP to create an 'invisible' encrypted channel.
Secure Shell (SSH) by contrast provides channel encryption over TCP similar to traditional VPN technologies with a dependency on a point-point connection.
Interesting to note the move to UDP and away from TCP by Google and others for the next-gen www (HTTP/3) to take advantage of the better performance over poor connections and mobile networks.
