Absolutely no reason why they can't simply expand later down the track as Neoen did with Hornsdale. There should be no issues from a network/physical limitation perspective due to its location (close to Gladstone load centre and thicc transmission lines), and there is limited red tape in getting approval for expanding the output of an asset compared to the initial connection process.

Hopefully Genex s the first to lay down a big battery in Queensland and decide to expand it once they see how profitable it is.
