Hi Renegades, I don't know either, but that's kind of my point. CXZ is not necessarily related to driverless vehicles, but uses cloud and internet and software. A $2b investment from Microsoft/Cruise/GM for driverless vehicles using the Azure cloud, may easily dictate that any ongoing work with CXZ, may as well get rolled into part of this project. Why would GM want to be involved in multiple cloud platforms when they could consolidate into one? Either way I guess they would be entirely separate ecosystems, so no cause for immediate alarm. But what is GM's long term plan with Azure, and what developments from this driverless venture would later roll out to normal vehicles in the future? Maybe it'll be a positive by creating more R&D and customisations for fleet vehicles that are driverless?
