From my experience in a different sector of engineering, large projects for large companies often requires short form CVs for large tenders of key management and technical personnel. It's fine to nail a small contractor to the wall over a several million dollar job contract, but at the end of the day if there's something bigger at stake aside from the contractors responsibilities, with no backup plan, then risk assessment for contractor selection is paramount. For a company like GM, if delivery of CXZ's responsibilities in any way affects GM's profitability, then I'm confident they'll examine the technical capacity of whomever they sign up for telematics with, one way or another, prior to August. It could easily be said that GM would be wreckless not to, prior to resigning another 3 year deal.
