HAD needs a new platform a bigger development and cost. Current earbud is not enough new hardware is needed, lower power some new functionality. FDA would require much work.

My view on the investment is that it is long term and sales volumes can change fast. NUH has plenty of stock. This means that SP can change fast when sales volumes grow.
A profitable business will be a while is my guess. They still investment until?

NUH don't have the money or technical expertise to compete with companies like Apple or Bose. Off the shelf chipsets mean OEMs can now make ANC buds extremely cheaply. So NUH has thousands of expensive and uncompetitive buds gathering dust in ~~warehouses~~ stationary cupboards.
