Isn't that a bit like saying banks are dependent on deposits and loans?

Will client cash keep reducing? Quite possibly, although it's still likely to baseline at a level that supports profitability (at a significantly reduced cost base) while they develop new initiatives. I'm hopeful those initiatives target the banks' clientele because that's where I suspect their inflows have dried up.
