"When life gives you Lemons make lemonade". I think that is a big American saying. When Hank first started here, I think he thought, OMG how do i get out of this.
He listened to a few people, he researched and then he came up with a plan. that plan changed when the lemon turned into a bowl of lemons that was the Tennessee plant and C-103 opportunity.
I've had a few chats with Hank mostly to try and get his overall character, and I like what I hear. I'm a Hank fanboy 100% and not ashamed to say it. He is hard working, smart as hell, and one of the most motivated people I've spoken to. I had my doubts and I'm sure
@pcpc won't mind me saying, I've emailed him several times about my doubts. But if 3DA doesn't make it, then it's not because of Hank, he will have turned every page, and looked under every stone. IMO, he's making this as saleable as possible and a few good contracts and a few more Grants/Funds it'll start to look very buy-able.
To answer your question, no I have not invested in another company with a "Hank at the wheel". This is why I say he runs it like he owns it. With his success, comes our success. I actually believe that he's likely on about $130/hr if it is broken down to hours worked. I don't believe when Hank first got involved with 3DA this was going to be his life. But he met the challenge and I think he loves it. I think this will be his most rewarding investment of his life. Not on a monetary level, but on an achievement level.
My timelines have been out, but I'm no Hank. He hasn't failed, the market has failed to see the end game. I've got 2 more years, but I don't think 3DA will last that long as a stand alone private company.
