Minbos Resources Limited (ASX: MNB) has taken control of EPC contracts for the Cabinda Phosphate Project, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, with plant completion projected for late August 2024 and wet commissioning by late July 2024.
Leadership and Project Management
Under the leadership of Chief Operating Officer Steve Abbott and Group Project Manager Marco Gomes, the Cabinda Phosphate Project has undergone a comprehensive design optimisation and process review resulting in a significant reduction in construction times and costs.
Construction Timetable
The construction activities have been divided into two stages, with the optimisation of Stage 1 and most of Stage 2 now completed.

Stage 1 involved optimised design works including a revised layout encompassing engineering design and construction activities up to the ground level. The revised layout has now been finalised, covering components such as earthworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete foundations.
The Company is currently involved in an active tender process for Stage 1 civil works, with the announcement of the preferred bidder and contract award expected shortly.
